Easton is named for Ansel Easton Adams, the beloved black and white photographer and environmentalist

who is best known for his dramatic photos of Yosemite National Park

One of my personal heroes, and one of my favourite places in the world

One of Ansel's earliest childhood memories was watching the smoke rise from San Francisco during the devastating earthquake and fire of 1906. Ansel's nose was broken when he was flung into a wall during one of many aftershocks. He never had his broken nose reset.

When he is grown, Easton will gain the Smoke gene as a tribute to that memory

Given Adams' love of the natural world, it is amazingly fitting that Easton is a Nature dragon
