Cepheus, though he originated from the land of the lightbringer, is descended from shadow dragons. Because of this, he was always mistrusted among his previous clan, even as a hatchling. As soon as he was old enough, he left his lair in search of something, anything.

Cepheus sold himself off as a sellsword, a mercenary. He's fought in many different wars under many different leaders. However, eventually he found his journey brought him to the frozen wastes. Wandering near an icy spire, he found a clan of exiles, who left their original clans either by reason or wanderlust.

The clan was united under a trifecta of imperials, the Crimson Agèma. Above them, however, was a dragon touched by the stars. Cepheus and Cassiopeia grew close, and soon Cassiopeia granted him some of her own power, and declared him leader of her Royal Guard.
