Biography
The world fluttered in the corners of her eyes, like too many sheets of paper she couldn't manage to align. From somewhere in the near distance came an irregular rolling thump and flutter, Sola's wings struggling through the pain against the hard packed dirt below. A shadow watched from beside Ebi as she traced against the floor with one sharp claw, sweeping lines of glyphs that seemed to rise from the ground and hover in her fractured vision. She was careful not to make any noise, lest Carto realize she had slipped away. The shadow stepped closer as she finished the last of the glyphs, and she could see his eyes now, forming from the darkness of him. Everything shifted slightly, jittering towards the center of her vision, and she relaxed slightly as the world stabilized again. She could hear Carto downstairs, speaking softly in Sola's ear as she came back through the veil, but she couldn't make out his words. Beside her, the shadow rippled.
