As all little hatchlings were, Wingsong was, and still is, mischievous. He had figured out how to flash his tail to create a blinding light right into others' eyes, reflecting on his faceted skin. The glare makes it hard for him to hunt, however, forcing him to skim the surface of sparkling water to be unseen by his prey.
Aside from his struggles, fishing, and tendency to mischief, Wingsong loved flying among the kites of the land, and he still does to this day.
