Skye hung out with Qopahlok a lot. They didn't talk much, but sometimes Qopahlok told her stories of tiny adventures she had had while going gathering or wandering through the forest alone. They went together from time to time, but Skye didn't consider herself to be a fighter like Qopahlok.
She has a difficult relationship with her self-centred mother Sapphire. Skye knows she's not a bad dragon or a bad parent, but she wished her father was still with them. Mayim has always understood his daughter.

"Sapphire was self-centred and had a troubled relationship with her only daughter Skye. She was left with her when Mayim was sent to the Gladekeeper, and it'd been rough for the two of them ever since. Mayim had always been the diplomatic one in their tiny family."
