Biography
——————————
Thrive is a dragon from a time long past.
Hundreds of years ago, she was quite unluckily turned to stone by a the gaze of a cockatrice.
So she sat, unknowing, unmoving, suspended in time, until one clumsy dragon changed everything.
Poko had been to her statue before. Many dragons thought it was carved many moons ago.
Poko had no reason to doubt this.
So when he tripped over his own tail and splashed an armful of random potion ingredients all over the statue, he didn’t really think much of it until the statue began to move.
Somehow, in his clumsiness, he had found a cure for those turned to stone.
It’s too bad he had no idea what ingredients caused it, or how much of each was needed.
He was working tirelessly to figure it out.
Well, except for when he’s trying to help Thrive integrate into modern society.
A lot has changed over the last few centuries, and Throve is now alive in an unfamiliar world with unfamiliar dragons, customs, and rules.
She causes a lot of social problems and accidents.
Poko feels like she is kind of his responsibility.
She thinks his help is sweet.
He thinks she’s amazing and fascinating.
He hasn’t told her that yet.
Maybe someday he will.
But until then, Thrive is leaning to be alive again, and is loving every moment she gets to breathe the air and watch the sun rise and fall, and even though the branches and flowers that covered her wings may never completely fall off, they feel less and less like chains every single day.
