Biography
——————————
Mordecai is a dragon who just can’t keep a job. He always works for a few weeks, and then either slacks off, does something dumb, or breaks a rule, and gets himself fired. He swears it’s not his fault every time, and stuff just happens to him, but he’s not really fooling anyone.
He always comes away with the craziest stories though, and it’s become a monthly event for everyone to gather at his cave and settle in for the most insane story you’ve ever heard. For example, the last time he got fired, he claims he was out chopping trees, when a squirrel ran down right in the path of his axe. He claims he spun around to keep the axe from hitting the squirrel, but mid spin he accidentally launched the axe at the boss’s head. The boss lost a few feathers.
It almost would have been okay, accidents happen, except that as Mordecai was trying to explain about the squirrel, he gestured too wildly, accidentally smacked the boss I the face with a wing, causing him to stagger back, knock over all the piles of chopped wood like a row on dominoes, and sent almost all of it careening down into the lake below.
Fired on the spot.
Oh well. He knows he’ll find another job soon. He claims the reason he keeps him getting hired despite his horrible track record is that he wishes on shooting stars each time he sees them! (Although, some of those ‘shooting stars’ might just be soaring dragons, but who cares? Sometimes, you just really need a wish!)
