Hod is a dragon respected by many. As a young hatchling he was abandoned, left to fend for himself in the harsh land of the tundra. Why his parents left him he never knew. He refused to give in to the confusion and loneliness his parents left him with and fought his way through childhood.

Life was never easy for Hod. Finding food was a hard task in the snow covered land. There was never enough plants to stop his hunger from ripping his stomach apart, and too many predators lurking in the snowstorms. Thanks to his thick coat he was able to keep warm, but his wings were not as lucky. The cold got to them, crystalizing them, making it almost impossible for Hod to fly. He can never fly for a long period of time, his wings hurting from having turned so stiff.

As he grew up he became strong. He learned how to defend himself, earning a few scars along the way. His heart was big even though his parents left such a big scar on his soul, and he would never hesitate to help a dragon in need. He would pick up dragons taken by the winter and nurse them back to health. Some chose to stay by his side, not having a home to return to. Others thanked him and left when they were able to.

At a very young age Hod became a clan leader. Several dragons had gathered around him and chose to stay. Dragons from all clans came to him, either by accident or because they had heard rumors of a clan that would accept even an outcast such as themselves. Abandoned, exiled, lost or ill treated, Hod took them all in and gave them a new life. They now go by the clan name “Cheimon”.
