"If all of you weren't so incompetent I wouldn't have to go chasing beastclans in the wilderness. Fine, I'll do it, since I'm the only one here who can cast a decent fireball. Now I'll have to leave my very important experiments unattended. I bet something will explode while I'm gone." *grumbles*
Does not actually mean any of that, would give his life to save any of his clanmates.

Sappheiros has a very strong affinity for magic. He appears intimidating at first, but he actually has a heart of gold. The hatchlings of the clan know this and love to play pranks on him, because he'll never be truly upset. However, although he's very patient with them, he's not above playing a few pranks of his own as a form of harmless revenge.

Arashi is in on his plans often. Not often enough, if you ask him. Way too often, if you ask anyone else. Together they're a formidable team, able to pull off the most far-fetched of pranks. However, Arashi is by far the most sensible of the two and will firmly tell him to stop if she thinks he's going too far.

"The dragons! They're flying!! You gotta help us!" Swizaw chirps, and Sappheiros is sure she's excited. In a bad way. He merely raises his head unimpressedly.
"That's not exactly unusual." he yawns. Swizaw shakes her head urgently.
"You don't understand. They do not use their wings. They are just... floating!"
"Hm," says Sappheiros, "and why do you think I can help with that?" It's difficult, but he can still surpress the grin threatening to make its way to his face.
Swizaw squeaks. "It's magic. I'm sure of it."
Oh, those faes and their inherent understanding of magic... Sappheiros stands slowly, uncoiling his tail and yawning just for good measure. "I'll take a look at it," he says and is choking on his laughter inwardly.
When they arrive at the lair, he finally can't stop himself anymore and begins to laugh. The other dragons are floating, balloons who try to swim through thick air, and at least one or two look at him as if he knows exactly what to do.
That's true, of course. He was the one who cast the spell to put them in the air; he's the one who knows the counter-spell.
Instead, he shrugs. "No idea what's going on here." he says and sits down to watch some of his friends laughing and some of them sqealing in half-hearted terror for a while.
