Manta

Manta dragons are seen throughout the waters of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. These large creatures can effortlessly swim in both deep and shallow waters. Very rarely you may even see them leaping above the surface just for a few seconds, in play. They are easily recognizable by their athletic, muscular bodies flanked with long, wide, fin-like wings that allow them to move gracefully through the Sea. Their light-colored underbelly gives them some camouflage when they have to swim at the surface of the water for some time, while the darker rippled patterns on their body and wings make them harder to see from above.

Manta have magnetic personalities and easily draw others to them. The slow, steady beat of their wings as they glide through the water can have a calming effect on any who happen to be watching. Often you will see them swimming along surrounded by schools of fish or even smaller dragons who help clean and groom their scales.
