mmmmmmmmmmm 		m THE BEGINNING

When someone asks who she is and where she comes from, RiverClaw always answers with a light-hearted: Just a mere fisher, born in The Ashfall Waste, but that lived most of her life near the river that divides the Hewn City.
She'll never tell the truth to anyone. Before she was born, her parents learned, that they were descendants from a very old fire cult, which lead to their sickly obsession with anything related to fire. They moved to the Ashfall Waste, refusing to have anything but fire hatchlings. Teaching them the old ways with the fanatic wish to please the Flamecaller. Will-o'-the-Wisp, ghost light, jack-o'-lantern. There were a lot of names for their kind, but that didn't matter, in the end there would always be a poor soul taking the wrong path. Serving a deity, they'd never intended to serve. A conflict, which often lead to a torn and desperate soul vanishing completely.
But she never knew of that, truly believing, what she is doing helps her deity. Those beliefs came from her parents and they would never be wrong, right? So a young RiverClaw followed them for years.
But the water in her blood, a heritage of a long forgotten great-grandfather, was awoken someday and sang to her of misery and desperation. She couldn't bear it and she ran. For the first time in her life as lost as the souls she guided in the wrong direction.
