Khol and Amalthea's fourth child, Mila had plans to become strong like Duskmire, who he was rather close to from his hatchday, and join another clan. He left early to another clan under the premise that they would train him, and ended up being sold into slavery, unbeknownst to his parents.


If not for Juniper, young Mila would have been Exalted to the Flamecaller, a fact he'd made his peace with for no reason other than that his mother was Fire-born. Juniper negotiated his return with the clan he'd ended up in. They were willing to let him return, unaware of the prior situation, and Mila returned to his parent's loving arms with little more than a scar and immense mistrust of unfamiliar clans to show for his ordeal.


Now, Mila is the unofficial leader of a small band of mateless dragons who have taken to calling themselves the Sainika. They serve as the clan lookouts and guards, keeping watch over their beloved clanmates to make sure no harm comes to them.

At it's conception, the code of the Sainika prevented its members from taking mates. This was for the good of the Clan as a whole, so the guard in question would never be torn between protecting his mate or protecting the Clan. Though this might not continue in the future, Mila has no intentions of taking a mate.
