Personality: Iolite is very young, and referred to by her Clanmates as the 'Gem Child'. She loves exploring the deeper caverns of the desert Clan's lair, particularly the crystal and mineral farms deep underground. This Pearlcatcher can often be found pestering Detragon while he works, though the older and gruffer dragon has learned to tolerate her presence over time. The youth always has her head in the clouds, and spaces off into the realm of her own imagination more often than not. Her silky, midnight-colored mane and deep purple crystal coat allow her to camouflage well in the dark, but she rarely uses these traits to her advantage, or contribute much to the Clan at all.
