Jasper

Jasper was born and raised in a nature clan. He had two loving parents and siblings. Then, one day, he decided to leave. He headed south, not quite sure where to go. Throughout the whole journey he had his Masked Phantom with him. He had found his phantom in a small cave underneath a tree. He brought it home with him and the bonded immediately. As a gift, the phantom had given him a spare skull mask. Jasper decided not to ask were it came from.

While on his journey, Jasper got attacked by a pearlcatcher with a grudge against all imperials. The pearlcatcher pretended that he wanted to be Jasper's friend, then lashed out. The pearlcatcher had ice powers, and gave Jasper large blue marks trailing down his back. This encounter taught Jasper that he can't trust everyone and the less people know about him, the better. Weakened from his injuries, Jasper collapsed. There, at the edge of the Windswept Plateau, a female imperial from an ice clan found him, unconscious. She decided to bring him back to her clan in the Cloudscrape Crags of the Southern Icefield.

It was a few days later when Jasper awoke. He found himself lying on a pile of furs in a tent. His Masked Phantom was sleeping next to him. He felt weird aches all over his back. The last thing he remembered was watching the pearlcatcher walk away after attacking him. Then, the same female imperial who had brought him to the clan, entered the tent. She introduced herself as MayaVie. She explained to Jasper that he was in the healer's tent in the clan MayaVie lived in. MayaVie visited him frequently while he was healing, and Jasper felt his feelings grow.

Jasper was fully healed in two months. He had by then decided to stay in MayaVie's clan. He tried to find a job, but there were none that suited him. He took to wandering the clan, talking to no one except MayaVie. Then, when he started to try to get MayaVie's attention, he admitted to himself that he was in love. So, he went up to MayaVie and asked her to be his mate. She readily agreed. They are still mates, and love each other very much. Jasper decided he was very lucky MayaVie had come through the woods that day when he got his marks.
