Fahraeus lives in a woven nest that hangs from one of the branches of the tree that grows from the cliffside. He decorates it with little lights that Naeroetia made for him (if one of the lights moves upon being touched, it's his familiar), and it glows like a little lantern at night. The other dragons love it so much that they soon all started asking for their own, and Nae spent a whole week forging little faerie lights for the clan. It irritated her, until she saw how lovely the tree looked lit up at night. The next day, Fahraeus found the sunguard chest in the lining of his nest, creating a deep imprint in the fluffy material. He panicked until the bed was fluffed up again to his satisfaction, and then loved the sunguard chest piece so much he entirely forgot to be mad about it.

Fahraeus makes a decent mapmaker, because although he's pretty much impossible to verbally understand, his scribbles somehow make enough sense to compensate. Naeroetia was glad he found a way to contribute to the clan, because frankly his poetry was awful even according to the other coatls in the clan. And thanks to the sunguard chest he no longer gets lost, even in the thickest of snowstorms.
