A young Deity that wanders the multiverse on nothing but whim. Miro is from an alternate dimension with an alternate Earth, although they have little to do with the planet. Like all Deities in their universe, they aren’t made of matter, but are literal thoughts and feelings that have congealed in the vastness of space and given themselves a tangible form. Due in part to their nature, they are incredibly self-centered, and of course, have the inherent ability to create and destroy matter. Although Deities have no need for material sustenance, they have a strong craving to absorb the emotions and feelings from physical hosts: the primary reason they create material life. While Miro ‘grew up’ with a taste for easy to procure experiences, such as pain and fear, they are currently dabbling in finer wines, such as pleasure, and love. Miro struggles to show emotion in a human way and doesn’t normally have facial expressions. They will fake them if the need arises, but because of the natural immobility of their real ‘face’, they struggle to keep appearances. They are currently in a close (albeit sometimes rocky) relationship with Damian, a human-socialized shapeshifter from their Alternate-Earth. As a dimension-hopping deity, Miro often explores alternate realities for their personal amusement, and will occasionally take Damian along for the ride (with mixed results). Miro was drawn to Sornieth because it was a world of magic, something they had not experienced before. In a (not so convincing) draconic disguise, Miro travels Sornieth as the head of the Clan Vestheris, worshiped by the Cult of the White Stag. |
