Zodzog

Zodzog is a slow, unmoving dragon - surprisingly so, for a Wildclaw. He no longer hunts or fights, for his earthen wings keep him grounded and the rubble in his joints cause him pain. If he slows his pace, though, the pain is not so bad, and he is able to enjoy the company of fellow dragons in his clan. Xwixzy is his favourite dragon to spend time with, Pearlcatcher and Wildclaw sitting together at the edge of lava lakes.

Despite the pain his earthen form can sometimes bring him, he leads a life of quiet joy amidst his accommodating lair. He is one with the cavernous walls, so he can watch for structural issues and alert other dragons to work that needs to be done. He makes for a good supervisor, as much as he wishes he could help he is glad to manage a team and ensure work is done safely.

Perhaps his greatest joy in life is sitting on volcanic rock and watching the sun set over Sornieth. The warm gradient of the sky matches the bubbling lava that fills these lands, and at these late hours does a Glowing Globe drift by and keep him company. He thought at first this were some dragon's familiar enjoying the same view as him, but no one else in the clan has ever laid eyes on this fiery lantern. So he calls it Warm Skies, and appreciates the presence of something that must enjoy these sunsets as much as he does.
