xx Murkhide hatched from a nest in Dragonhome, her colouring standing out in stark contrast from the dusty earth around her. From a young age, she watched the trees of the nearby Viridian Labyrinth with longing, hoping to one day walk under the ancient boughs.
When she reached maturity, Murkhide decided it was time to follow her passion, and she entered the Gladekeeper’s realm.
For a time, she wandered aimlessly, taking in her surroundings with wonder and joy, until one day she encountered a Dryad named Maple, who offered to teach her about the plants and herbs around them. The two travelled together, and eventually traversed the Labyrinth, reaching the Gladeveins and encountering Esmira’s Clan. 		Cinnamon

Upon arriving at the ancient cavern that housed the Clan, Murkhide met Elm, a fellow Snapper, who serves as the Clan Healer. Their mutual interest in herbs and plants drew them together, and Elm found that Murkhide’s presence was calming to his patients.

Maple and Murkhide met in the midst of the first, after Maple had lost her family. Both feeling lonely, Maple offered to join the dragon and teach her about the plants around them. They forged a strong bond, with Maple choosing to remain alongside Murkhide once they reached the Clan.
