Biography
Though perhaps this is inappropriate to say, archaic is perhaps the most difficult foundling I have taken into my care. This is for a number of reasons. This first being that, apparently, archaic was once a rotting corpse, brought back to a half-life with strange vague-magic. This is, unfortunately, not completely confirmed as Archaic is the sort of child to punk me on such things. However, I choose to believe my hatchlings regardless, so I have adopted a strange omen of death, I suppose. Secondly, though Archaic has some speech ability, they also have a very strange vocabulary; their speech is an accumulation of words from many different languages, and lots of cursing. I have to assume this is due to different excavations of nearby fossils. Thankfully, as a semi-omniscient being, I have thankfully been able to communicate with the hatchling fine, but it has made socializing with their peers more challenging. Thirdly, Archaic is very much a bite first, question never. Happy, sad, angry, excited— Archaic will find a cause for biting. Archaic has been hanging out with Grimblo and Xiao Yu recently, two of my quieter foundlings. This is a relief as Archaic has had a difficult time connecting with their other peers. On the other hand, Grimblo seems to be both fine with being bit semi-frequently, as has bit three other hatchlings now. Xiao Yu has been as well-behaved as ever when I'm around, and has seemed to temper Archaic a little, which has been very helpful.
Alas, I love Archaic dearly, and thus all of the above does seem negible in the light of my affection. I had never really considered myself the sort of dragon who would have a whole clan of foundlings, and yet here I am. Here I am, and the more they come. That's show biz, and whatnot, I suppose.
