You encountered a Foxfire Mimic!

This rare docile mimic hailed from the Foxfire Grove - the mimics that live there took on appearances that resemble the resident shallow waters, the moss-covered stones, the bioluminescent foxfire mushrooms and the glowing wil-o'-the-wisp.

Generally, they are spooky but friendly little fellows who like to hide and play pranks, and who will raid every food storage that is within arm's reach. Make sure you hide your Marsh Chokers!

Origin: stalking the subspecies Foxfire Mimics back when there was only an Undertide and finally Modern version

Name origin: Abbot of Unreason (“Reez” is the lore name spoken out loud among the clan) is the official who runs festivities similar to King of Fools. “Everything is tipsy turvy.” In real life, servants boss masters, ugly clothes are the coolest, rude is polite, whatever. In posters to illustrate how opposite everything is, hares ride hunting dogs.

Familiar origin: something blue and watery but for right now whatever Fiona’s goal is in my Hoard.

Bonded to: no mate but twin brother Lord of Misrule (“Mizz”), the same position as Abbot of Unreason but in a different land.

Clan role: creative event ideas behind the scenes, pranks (chaotic-good, especially when someone is brooding about a bigger and worse problem)

More info: Lord of Misrule is like King of Fools and also RUNS the festivities in some areas. So, Misrule can be the publicly respectable event organizer who has NO IDEA how coins got baked into those cakes and NO IDEA how the wicker statue caught fire “but gosh it made for a cool finale didn’t it?”

AS FAR AS THE CLAN KNOWS there is only one aqua Imperial living here. The clan can’t tell them apart because it’s usually rare glimpses of the sister while the brother likes the more face to face social hosting and “appears respectable when in sight”. THEY ARE EACH OTHER’S ALIBI ANYTIME. Even when it’s his turn to do the prank, she can be seen walking in another part of the territory or call a greeting to someone without a closeup of her face, so “he” is proven innocent.
