Kilonian’s Every Color Challenge!

Listener has extremely sharp hearing, much more defined than anyone in the clan has ever seen. She can hear conversations clearly from across a crowded room, she can hear every creature in the forest, and pinpoint exactly where they are located.

As unique and useful as this ability is, it’s actually quite detrimental to Listener. She has a hard time sleeping well, as her mind is constantly full of every little sound. She keeps her distance from other dragons, as their voices, even for just friendly conversation, can be deafening. She herself rarely talks, as even her own voice can sometimes be too much for her ears. She often uses sign language to do most of her of talking, excluding when talking to Cecity, since they can’t see her claws moving against her dark scales.

One day, a mysterious dragon left a gift on her doorstep. She didn’t see who it was, but she heard them walk up, drop the gift, and then skitter away. By the time she opened the door, all that was left was a few grey flower petals adorning the grass.

Inside the box was a pair of purple noise cancelling headphones, which, although they didn’t block out all the noise, definitely made daily life much more bearable.

She often wonders who her mystery gift-giver is, and hopes to find them one day.
