Biography
Though born in the Sunbeam Ruins, Xeroioa and his three brothers grew up hearing tales from their parents about the Viridian Labyrinth, and especially the Great Behemoth. Every young Auraboa knows how their kind care for the Behemoth. Xeroioa and his brothers were never short on stories from their parents' time in the great tree, caring for it with as much devotion as they cared for their hatchlings, perhaps even more. However, like many other Auraboa setting out into the world, Xeroioa's parents began to move around Sornieth and as such he and his three brothers awoke to the bright fields of the Sunbeam Ruins.
Hearing such tales about the Behemoth and the Auroboas caring for it as hatchlings, Xeroioa and his brother Zuido felt a calling to the Viridian Labyrinth. At the time, they considered this a calling to their true home and to their life purpose: caring for the Behemoth like the others of their kind. As the wild spirits that they were, Xeroioa and Zuido set off on their own on a journey to the Viridian Labyrinth, seeking the Behemoth that they had heard so much about. For a time, when they arrived at their destination, Xeroioa and Zuido felt content with their lives. They tended the tree with the same devotion they had heard about in their parents' stories. Yet, as time went on they began to grow restless. They knew in their minds that caring for the Behemoth was not a useless endeavor, yet their hearts pulled them elsewhere. The two young Auraboas wanted to experience something new and care for something untraditional. As such, the two brothers set out into Sornieth again, searching for the place their heart was leading them. Upon their journey, they stumbled into the Shadowbinder's domain, the complete opposite from the bright Sunbeam Ruins where they had grown up. Yet it was here, in this place so different from the ruins and Viridian Labyrinth that the two brothers found where they belonged. Two clans, sisters like they were brothers, sheltered within the shadows of the Tangled Wood. There was something appealing about the two clans to them, and they decided that these clans were what they wanted to devote their life and work to maintaining. However, Xeroioa felt himself being called into the Wispwillow Grove to the Starfall Order, while Zuido felt that his place was with the Abyssal Republic in the Driftwood Drag. Xeroioa and Zuido did their best to convince the other to join each other's chosen clan, and both failed. In the end, Xeroioa and Zuido went their separate ways, each devoting themself to the purpose of maintaining their chosen clan like their parents tended to the Behemoth in their stories. Xeroioa often struggles to understand his brother's decision to align himself with the Abyssal Republic instead of the Starfall Order. For Xeroioa himself, the mystery and magic of the Starfall Order was appealing to him. It was a worthy clan to devote himself to. While he often feels conflict within himself about whether he should've chosen Starfall over his brother, he chooses to believe that the two of them are repairing the rift between the two clans as much as they are repairing their chosen cities. Though his repairs often keep him busy, Xeroioa has made many friends among Starfall. He now serves as a minor council member, keeping updated and giving updates on all the repairs and construction happening around the clan.  Zuido: TBA |
