Biography
The last thing Winterdawn remembered was pain. He wasn't sure where, he wasn't sure how, but that's all he remembered.
When he woke he found himself laying in a den with a strange, slightly scarred skydancer sitting there tending to his wounds. He slowly started to sit up.
"Where am I?" Winterdawn asked, a strange anger welling up inside him.
"We're in Ventus Rise, outside of Aergate. I brought you to my den for healing. Now lay back down, you're still recovering," said the skydancer. "I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Talia; I'm what you might call the leader of the Wandering Star Sanctuary."
A small fae dragon poked its head out from behind Talia.
"And this little one is Blueberry. You have her to thank for your rescue."
Blueberry bows and then hides behind Talia again.
"She's a bit shy," said Talia with a chuckle. "Now then. What should I call you?"
Winterdawn blinked. "They call me Winterdawn. I'm..." He couldn't remember. He couldn't remember anything besides the pain that he felt before passing out. "I don't know." A sense of panic replaced the anger he felt. "I don't know who I am." He tried to stand but found himself wincing in pain.
"Sit down!"
The harsher tone of her voice took Winterdawn by surprise, and reluctantly he laid back down.
"We can figure out who you are later, but for now just rest."
Winterdawn nods. Right. Rest. He could do that.
And yet somewhere at the back of his mind, he felt a lingering feeling of something missing, of something important he's forgotten.
