Biography
Worth Leader, Medic
"The Lord is your physician"
Clan leader, along with Parker. The two mates are often given second glances, and typically their relationship is outright frowned upon; they have even been subjected to outlash from others, including violence. However despite the instinctual hatred for the other's species, they have one of the healthiest relationships within the lair and among their allied clans as well. It didn't happen overnight; it took several years of being raised together, fighting together, and eventually travelling together for their hatred to morph into mutual respect and a lifelong bond; most dragons within the lair are polysexual, mating with several different dragons in the lair, but usually become romantically attached to only one to three. Worth and Parker are no exception to this, and occasionally mate with others, however they are life partners. The only thing more precious to Parker than Worth is her pearl. They see each other as complete equals, and run their clan with care. As Worth is a soft-spoken Imperial, Parker often leads their discussions, both personal and those with the rest of their lair, while she lends a patient ear to him for when he finds his words. They ultimately make final decisions, however if any clan member disagrees they will discuss why, what can be changed to please them, etc. Many if not most ideas are pitched by Amphitrite and/or Oceanus, and they have more of a say about decisions than most other dragons in the lair. If either Parker or Worth disagree on a matter, even if the rest of the clan agrees, that decision will not go forward; both must agree for it to be done.He originally entered the clan after, like Equinox, fell from his native neighboring region, this time slipping in from the Wandering Contagion. Though first seen as a threat, Oceanus and Amphitrite spoke sense into the other dragons and he was allowed to stay. He proved himself as a natural leader, and is surprisingly skilled in medicine, and is the main healer of the clan. However, he is nicknamed "the sawbones" because he does not specialize in magic for healing, but brute, gory work, cutting patients up and sewing them back together. Scully assists him in his work taking care of the clan, and she is definitely the more gentle of the two. He greatly values her professional output on medical situations. After moving in, he soon grew up. Like, really grew up. He towers over all other dragons in the lair. However, despite his size and heritage, he sees the clan as forever his home. He puts up a rough and distant exterior, as his breed often does, though any of the current hatchlings will tell you that he lets them crawl on him. He swears he is a heavy sleeper and does not notice, but everyone knows better than to believe that. Worth's gigantic size causes him to be unable to go to some meetings with other clans, simply because he is quite literally too big to fit into many; it doesn't help that his disproportionate body length to wingspan ratio makes it impossible for him to fly(seriously, enter his proportion in to http://emcall.github.io/dragonsizes/ . It's ridiculous). Because of this, Parker, Parthenope, Amphitrite, and Oceanus often go to represent the clan instead, and sometimes even Worth's completely loyal familiar, his Cursed Bat. Most of the time he sits perched on the part of Worth closest to him. Or curled up in his wooly coat. His most precious piece of apparel is his iron necklace, which belonged to his deceased best friend. ((Named and dressed after Doc Luce Worth from Tessa Stone's Hanna is not a Boy's Name; iron necklace is a reference to Dez's series Hannapocalypse, in which Worth wears Lamont's iron cross after his best friend's death.))
