Biography

~ TARVER STONECLOAK ~

CAoFzQv.png

0J5NKzl.png Tarver grew up in the Patchwork Clan, the son of two passionate artists who ran a local gallery and community art center. His parents instilled in him a love for creativity and a deep appreciation for community. From a young age, Tarver was encouraged to express himself through various forms of art, particularly painting and music. He pursued a degree in the arts from Lux University, hoping to follow in his parents' footsteps. However, upon graduation, he struggled to find his place in the competitive and often cutthroat world of professional art. The commercial aspect of the art world clashed with his ideals, leaving him disillusioned. At 24, Tarver attended an art and spirituality retreat where he met Caelum, the same traveler who would later recruit both Eillove and Xanzu. Caelum spoke about the Haven of Light, a community dedicated to spiritual growth, artistic expression, and communal living. Intrigued by the promise of a life where he could merge his love for art with a deeper sense of purpose, Tarver decided to leave the Patchwork Clan and join the Haven. Upon arriving at the Haven of Light, he was welcomed with open arms. He quickly integrated into the community, contributing his artistic skills to various projects. He found joy in creating murals, organizing music sessions, and teaching art to other Seekers. Tarver was particularly inspired by Seraphim’s vision of a harmonious, enlightened community and believed deeply in the Haven’s mission. Now, he is responsible for creating murals that depict the community's values and vision, organizing music sessions, and teaching art classes to other Seekers. He takes pride in these responsibilities, seeing them as a way to inspire and uplift the community.

Despite his passion for the Haven's mission, Tarver's growing unease stems from several troubling observations. His doubts are not about the Seekers' goals but about the leadership's increasingly authoritarian methods and the restrictive atmosphere that seems to be tightening around them. He proposed a mural that included themes of free expression and individuality, but it was rejected by the senior members. They argued that the artwork should reflect the collective goals of the Haven. This incident made Tarver realize that the leadership was more interested in control than in fostering true creativity. He also noticed an increase in surveillance and monitoring within the community. The senior Seekers, loyal to Seraphim, seem to be keeping a closer eye on those who show signs of doubt or who, like Tarver, express a desire for more openness. This surveillance has made him more cautious and aware of the potential consequences of his actions. He has formed close bonds with Eillove and Xanzu, who share his growing concerns about the leadership. They have become a small support network, discussing their doubts and plans in secret. However, Tarvr also has friends who remain loyal to Seraphim and the current leadership, which complicates his position. He continues to believe in the Haven’s overarching mission but is increasingly concerned about Seraphim's leadership and the community’s restrictive practices. His love for art and the bonds he has formed with other Seekers, like Xanzu and Eillove, keep him grounded, but his conscience urges him to seek a more open and truthful environment. He remains dedicated to the Seekers' mission and the well-being of his fellow community members. His hope lies in the possibility of reforming the Haven from within, making it a truly open and enlightened community.
