It's surrealism."  -Siamo nei guai!- Joost entrò di volata e iniziò a mettere dentro il loro sacco da viaggio le loro cose, compresi tutti gli attrezzi di Joost per la pittura. Vedendo così, Roderika si allarmò: -Joost? Tesoro, che succede?- gli domandò, spaventata. Joost iniziò a raccontarle cosa aveva scoperto, ovvero che Astor era cattivo, che aveva costretto tutti a trasferirsi dal dominio del Windsinger e che stava imponendo il suo volere su ogni drago lì dentro. Che aveva picchiato un certo Gereb solo per mostrare di cosa era capace a chi disubbidiva e altre cose indicibili. Roderika perse tutto il viola del suo corpo e divenne bianca: -Dobbiamo andarcene immediatamente.- |
Falada era andato via, si era nascosto nel piccolo tempio dell'ibernazione, per sfuggire ad Astor. Gli altri figli, Alma, Isaac e i due fratelli identici Romolo e Roma, riuscirono a rientrare nell'alloggio prima che l'Aether se la prendesse anche con loro. Joost si mise davanti all'ingresso per non far passare Astor, assieme a Roderika. -Sono solo cuccioli, perché te la prendi con loro?!- ruggì Roderika.
