Biography
The only remaining member from the Fellowship of Flowing Amber.
The Fellowship was essentially a prison, however with a unique method of imprisonment. Initially directed by the Gladekeeper herself, they set out to imprison and entrap those that she thought of as dangerous and harmful to her cause. They trapped their victims in amber from a root of the Behemoth, and after the amber hardens they remain in a form of stasis until they are broken free.
They were allied with many organizations on the surface. But after being infiltrated by foreign agents, presumably trying to retrieve an imprisoned ally, the insurrection they caused triggered the fail-safe system to self-collapse all exits out of the underground facility. Those that survived inside were cut off from the outside world and eventually perished.
Hori was a technician for the Facility before it fell. Updating and repairing the machinery that poured the amber. Knowing that the end was coming, Hori self-imprisoned himself in the amber, with a message written at the base of his block, in the hope he would one day be free.
Many years have passed since the last days of the Facility. By luck or the will of the Gladekeeper herself, flowing water and the force of roots have once again opened an entrance to the facility, eventually being found again.
Several dragons have tried to explore the deep crypts where dragons have long been imprisoned in amber, hidden away for centuries. After being taken to the crypt, the blocks were meticulously maintained to prevent cracking, breaking, and escapes. Only one recorded escape has been recorded to this day.
