Sight

Born under Windsinger, Sight had only known the land within the wind swept plateaus. He had lived in the same cave amongst the swaying bamboo nearly all his life, until he was driven out.
It had happened just after he had had his first clutch with his mate, Far. They had taken there young outside of the lair to play and enjoy the wind on there scales. He and Far had been trying decide suitable names for their offspring when a dragon came down from the sky and struck down his youngest hatching.
In outrage he charged the dragon and battled fiercely as his mate gathered the younglings and herded them back into the den. He was able to drive the dragon away put he knew they could not stay. It had been one of Wingsinger's disciple, there was no doubt they would simply call the death a "needed sacrifice to Windsinger to please the god and bring us wealth."
He carefully took the body of his kin and flew to the land of Ice to seek refuge along with his mate and remaining hatchlings. There he buried the body and even though tradition forbid the dead be named he had always though of her as Tori.
He now lives in a lair amongst other refugees, orphans, and abandoned dragons. His two children now grown into adulthood and living in other lairs. Sight and Far currently live together and plan to have another clutch together under safer circumstances but the experience from his last one seems to have hardened him. Only time will tell what happens from here.
