Marix is an artist and like, a little snobby about it but she paints such gorgeous watercolour landscapes that nobody really minds. she uses her expansive eyesight to take in a view and paint it in this unreal perspective that's impossible for most dragons to properly conceptualize, but fellow multigaze dragons adore for having their view of the world accurately represented in art

while she loves watercolours for the texture and control they offer, giving her opportunities to re-wet her paint and continue a piece long after everything has dried down - or paint on top to add translucent layers that offer even more depth - she constantly jokes that she chose watercolours only so that she can continue wearing whatever she wants and always wash out the water-soluble pigments

the only time she uses other mediums is when asked to paint a mural somewhere in the lair, which she absolutely LOVES to do and will all but live in the space until she finishes it. with all her murals everywhere, visiting dragons comment on how every corner of Sornieth lives within these walls
