Madrigal is without question the leader of the lair. He rules the clan from one of the highest perches, surrounded by a fawning assortment of other pink dragons. He's a vain, self-centered creature who is more likely to be found lounging and staring at himself in a mirror about than actually doing any menial labor or anything that could really count as "work." There are always any number of other dragons willing to dig a new tunnel to make room for hatchlings or add another treasure room. It isn't worth dirtying his claws.

Madrigal is honey-sweet to people who pay court to the royalty he believes that he is, and a bit of a viper when he feels unappreciated. For all of his airheaded mien, he's a cunning leader and protective over anyone who finds their way into his clan. It isn't completely about who can further his ego the most-- but that certainly helps. Deep down maybe he has a sweet, warm temperament for a select few, but otherwise he hides it relatively well. Surprisingly, he has a soft spot for hatchlings, and several pink snapper babies have taken to following him about on his daily rounds.
