Biography

Deepscale Carvers
V. Fluorescarves

The most successful Deepscale carvers are from the Bogsneak species as they have massive bodies and better eyesight, though in some cases Guardians and Spirals can keep up with them too. They have hard scales on their arms, legs and jaws, harder than any known material and with this, they can easily break or carve anything they want. Their colors are a pleasant mix of blue and their patterns help them blend in the water, for hiding or predatory purposes.

As for the behaviour… well, they won’t be your best neighbours, mainly because they rarely have had any neighbours at all and if you happen to move in (or move them in), you’ll have a hard time with them. They carve. Like, a lot. They’ll move builders and break rocks whenever they have the urge to do so, and as the water leads the voice… you can imagine. Deepscale carvers are really stubborn, so they will not likely to change, but miracles can happen if you are patient. They must have their own private space, but some of them have a deep, really deep desire to take part and be accepted in the life and clans above them. They’ll happily join the hardest excavations (but please do not give them the smoothest work) or help out in some construction processes, as underwater stability is their main focus. They are naturally talented in this area - it's not a coincidence that their big, branching tunnels do not break. Just one notice: never criticize their Deepcarves. Never. They’ll either kill you, or they’ll just adjust their home the way that it will crash in the moment you step in again and bury you for a lifetime.
