KALESTRYX Dancing Hex Witch |

Hailing from the Coven Aestralla, Hex Witches are thus named for their proficiency in hexes, curses, and jinxes. No Hex Witch however is ever the same to another, and their powers are often linked heavily to their personalities, whether for good or for ill. It can be counted on that their friends and allies will never suffer from a hex, while rivals and foes...are not so lucky. From an early age, Kalestryx was always on the move. Seemingly incapable of staying still, even in sleep, she constantly fidgeted, twirled, and needed to be doing something with her hands and feet. Her Coven and family saw her need came from an overactive mind, and quickly sought to support and bolster her. Lessons that required more studious and quieter habits would come equipped with toys and trinkets that could be manipulated with a single hand or even with just her tail, giving her twitchy muscles an outlet so that her mind could focus. If something could be taught in a more hands-on fashion, Kalestryx was called upon to be a willing demonstrator, and she was always eager to learn even if the first few attempts did not go to plan. And she of course had any number of extracurricular activities and games open to her, which she attended with open delight and vigor. When Kalestryx's Hex Witch powers emerged, they came to her while she was in the middle of a dance lesson. She mesmerized and enthralled all who watched, as magic flowed with her movements. The entire environment around her seemed to come to life with her, dancing and twirling to enhance her every move. Her passion for the complicated steps and beautiful upbeat music showed with every flare of color and power, and all who saw were similarly enchanted with her zest and love for the dance. It was only when the audience could not stop speaking about the performance, much to the detriment of the rest of their responsibilities and lives, that anyone even realized a spell had been accidentally cast. Learning to control her new power took some time, especially with not accidentally enthralling her audience again, but Kalestryx quickly learned all the same, just as she had with all hands-on demonstrations. As she made her way out into the world from the watchful eye of the Coven however, she knew that the world would be at her feet if she was not careful...or if she was daring enough to command it from all who could see.
