Sanguis takes his job very seriously.. being the protector of the all the knowledge in the Clan is not something he would take easy... Consider not getting on his bad side. He's very against new dragons in the Clan even hatchlings going so far as to having one banished. Since that is in his power to exile dragons he claims "Unworthy of the Clan & its secrets." Often he doesn't even share knowledge and history to the hatchlings letting Ignis try and educate them based off of what he knows. His short temper with new dragons and hatchlings makes him usually the last one to know of a new member. And having Imperatrix regularly trying and calm his anger towards them
