Biography
Akua- The first of her clutch to hatch. Was often left in charge of her clutch-mates far younger than she should have been. She became mother 2.0 as she learned to hunt by herself for her clutch-mates. She taught them the ways of the sea. With her father gone on long hunts, and a mother whom cared more for her clutch-mates than her, Akua found herself in frequent solitude and rather came to enjoy it. Or so she thought.
Fast forward a few hundred years, Akua has traversed the sea mainly by herself. She has strayed far from the waters her clutch mates and her hatched in. Solitude was her only true friend. Then one day, she found herself looking out into the abyss when the sheild she had around her crashed down. Emotions raced through her as she realized how alone she truly was. She realized that for centuries she had pushed her emotions aside to please her mother. To show her father nothing was wrong. To care for her clutch-mates.
In anger, or despriation, she swam to the surface and crashed out of the water into the air. With a deep breath, Akua screeched into the morning light. For days she flew away from the waters, determined to never go back. Hunger pained her after the first month. Sleep threatened to take a hold on her during the second month. By the third month, she was hardly gliding a few thousand feet in the air. Nearly lulled to sleep by the beating of her wings, a thunder clap awoke her. Finding herself caught head first into a malestorm. In her weakened state, she could not fight the strong winds or hail. With the storm raging around her, she pushed through as best she could. Until a flash of light brought her down with a roll of thunder.
Akua awoke to sand between her scales and the taste of salt water on her tounge. The sun warmed her and when she went to open up her eyes, it blinded her. She raised her head grogerly, blinking away the light, when her eyes landed on a pile of fish. She wiggled herself forward, sniffing the pile for any sort of posin when she heard a shrill whistel from the sea. Akua whipped her head around to see Cayne, the dark red Undertide dragon that had made sure she had food. Akua was wary of Cayne, but he did his best to take things slow for her.
Soon, the two were mated. Dancing through the skies and singing with the whales. For the first time, Akua knew peace and love. Never once did she leave Cayne's side from there on out.
