- A Dusthide stuck in a cryogenic sleep for millennia in order to recover from injuries caused by a glacial cave-in. Tectonic plate activity wriggled his icy cocoon out of a hidden cave wall, causing a Lantern Dragon to find it and take it back to the Islands for studying. The cocoon hatched, revealing the Dusthide within.

- After having been asleep for so long, he struggled incredibly hard to adjust to the new world.

- He spent most of his time hiding in a little nook, but he'll step out of his comfort zone sooner or later.
