I must be someone new

this song helped me through one of the hardest breakups I've ever had. I fixated on "it's still the autumn leaves" in a negative way for awhile, since we got together in a fall month. but the more I listened, the more the lyrics sunk in, the harder the line "I must be someone new" hit for me. being away from him helped me realize I could be my own person once more, and the box that I had unknowingly stuffed myself into didn't matter anymore. for the first time in over a year, I felt free again.

I know this is a silly dragon website, but I just felt like typing this here. like a time capsule to remind myself that the pain of it all was worth it in the end.
