"Jin"
The name was whispered often in your ears, and it brings a shiver down your spine every time. You know not where the name originates, or who this "Jin" is, but it is a name you know well-and it always manages to chill you to the bones.
Why?
You ask the voices over and over: "Why? Why? Why?" But, your questions always remain unanswered. The voices. They see no reason to explain themselves-no reason to bring you to the light. They only tell you what they think you need to know, always whisper dark, telling secrets into your ears. It's a miracle in itself that you can still hear at all. The voices are almost never silent, and they often raise in volume in selfish attempts to drown out what the other dragons have to say.
Jin. Jin.
"Who is she?" You decide to ask again. Maybe today, you think, maybe today they will tell you.
"You are Jin." The voices eventually whisper back, their collective voices dragging an icy shudder down your spine.

Clan Mage
Senseless whispers always fill your head, both enlightening and confusing you. They speak of new knowledge-of new powers. They rasp of a another world-one where the powerful walk on only two legs and cannot fly. They growl of a life both known and unknown to you-of a life you've once had. It makes little sense, but you do not question their truths.
Personality (Adolescent):
"T-The...The voices won't stop! I'm not crazy!"-Freya
Young and mysterious, Freya arrived at their lair entrance suddenly one day, shaken and insisting she was not crazy. It didn't take long to understand what had got her all paranoid and jittery-her mind was plagued with voices.
Unable to shut them up, she is forced to listen and listen and listen. Unable to make any sense of them, she's constantly tortured and always trying to find some sense and structure in her life. Many of the clan members do what they can to comfort her and make her feel safe, though some also feel extremely uneasy around her.
Personality (Adult):
"...I was once a...'human'...?"-Freya
Years have passed and she has finally come to terms with the voices in her head. After living her adolescent years in constant fear and confusion, she has come to embrace them and listened carefully to what they have to say. Now with an open mind, she has come across a shocking pool of seemingly endless knowledge, making her the powerful mage she is now.
Though still paranoid, it's notbecause of the voices themselves. Rather, it's what they say that usually get her worked up. With the otherworldly knowledge constantly flowing through her mind, Freya requires routine and consistency to be comfortable and not snap. The other clan members must be careful around her, because the slightest break in her every day routine can cause her to snap angrily at them and throw a huge tantrum. Despite this very apparent paranoia of hers, she refuses to tell them why she's so afraid of what the voices tell her about them.
She's become a very capable mage, however, and often surprises the others with her expert handling of magic-since it's hard to see someone so paranoid be so calm when using such powerful magic. When asked how she came across this talent, since there is no evidence of her having trained or learned at all, she simply mutters the name "Jin", as though that is all that you need to know about her abilities.
