Biography

This one has a strange idea of what the unknowable is. She claims that it is some dark shape with bright red teeth, something able to manifest physically to protect its followers. She could not be more wrong. She appears to have mistaken her grandmother, Redfang, for the unknowable. We were hesitant to take her in when we realized what was running through her head, but we did so anyway. We refuse to let her see Redfang, though, and the seers keep trying to explain to her what the unknowable really is. She does not seem willing to listen, or at least is unwilling to discard her old belief.

We refuse to let Redfang so much as know that she is here. Redfang will likely not react well. Instead, we have opted to give her to Nereid to raise, and have made it known to him that he is not to speak of his ex-mate around her.

Due to the level of danger that Azrael presents, we have finally chosen to imprison her. It has led to her realizing the truth of who those protective red fangs that her father told her of actually is, but we suspected that would happen eventually anyway. Best it happen when she is hidden away where she cannot do harm to anyone. She is enraged at her situation and at us, shouting at any who pass in a fury, but we have made sure she cannot coordinate with the other prisoners. Her yelling is a good sign, as it means there is nothing else she can do.

There was nothing else she could do, anyway. Up until she and the other prisoners escaped. Now she serves as Redfang's right hand in her mission to bring us down. We wonder if she feels guilt destroying the home that her father admired so much. We wonder if she doesn't care because she's connected the dots and knew it was only ever about Redfang.
