Born amidst the barren land of the Shattered Plain, Fractura endured the harsh realities of the world from the moment she emerged from her egg. With neither friends nor family to guide her, she wandered alone, her journey aimless and without meaning. It was while on one of these treks that she encountered Ramus, a dragon who would change the course of her destiny. At first, Fractura approached with a sense of caution, perturbed by the darkness exuded from their presence. But as she listened to their words she began to feel a sense of belonging that she had never known before. Fractura soon became a close companion of Ramus and decided to devote herself to their cause. Beneath the surface of her unwavering loyalty lay a heart chained by untold emotions. Fractura had given herself wholly to Ramus, not just as a follower but as a dragon hoping to become their lifelong companion. She watched them from the shadows, her heart aching with every new follower gained and every decision they made without consulting her. Yet, despite her love, Fractura knew that she could never truly have them; for they were the messenger of the gods. The Shade had ensured that Ramus remained forever out of her reach, their heart closed off to any semblance of romantic attachment. And so, she buried her feelings deep within her, masking them with unwavering loyalty and dedication. Although she yearned for a relationship she could never have, she left her love abandoned in the recesses of her heart. Thus, she continued to serve, her devotion to Ramus never faltering even as her own heart remained shrouded in shadow. For in the darkness of her unrequited love, Fractura found a purpose greater than herself—a purpose she would gladly sacrifice everything for, even if it meant sacrificing her own happiness in the process. |
