Biography
Shimmershale doesn't notice you as you walk in, his attention entirely upon the book propped up on an old, wooden sheet music stand. He changes the page with a single, blunted claw. The other claws are still sharp. Another page is turned before he notices you. A massive iridescent head swivels in your direction.
"A quiet one. Announce yourself next time." He says in a gruff voice. The book closes quickly, disappearing into one of his leather pouches strung over his shoulder.
A grunt acknowledges your name and breed. "I can see what you are. No need to tell me. These eyes still work. And the wings. And the fangs." A mouth full of white teeth confirms this. You think to yourself, is this really a wind dragon? Perhaps you have the wrong lair. The walls are full of various objects from a wide variety of places, half of them books. Perhaps not.
"But you are here for something, yes? Speak up. Books?" The purple sails on his cheeks perk with interest. "Of course m'dear, of course. Come in. Where did you say you were from again? I have a great many books..." His voice trails off as he turns abruptly. You scamper to follow, footsteps muffled on intricate rugs, each one jarringly different than the next.
