Irto is large and imposing, with a ruined face and hide covered in long-healed scars. Not to mention what appears at first to be a fierce, stoic and distant personality. But with a little time, his overwhelming sense of compassion and a love of honor become apparent, and you will see that his maw is more often twisted into a smile than a grimace. He is the leader of his clan and takes his responsibilities as their protector and advisor very seriously. They in turn are fiercely loyal to him, though he would never outright ask for their sacrifice.

He is not a native to the Sunbeam Ruins , nor are many of his clan-mates, but they have each made their pilgrimage here for a reason - the love of peace and the search for truth. That , and the expectation that all members are treated as equals, is all he requires from his underlings. As for what happened to him before he arrived at the Sundial Terrace, he'd rather not say.

Though Irto does keep a certain number of his dragons in peak fighting condition, just in case. Old habits die hard...
