◈ APPEARANCE ◈ Brigid is not what you would expect of a healer. She’s an absolute bear of a woman; fat and well-muscled, built strong from years of smithing during her upbringing. Though there is kindness in her eyes, the glow of a red-hot piece of metal in her hand as she moves to cauterize a wound is… intimidating, to say the least. And her eyes are… distant? As though she’s watching something else unfold while she works. ◈ HISTORY ◈ The swirling shadows that haunt her bloodline have never spoken to Brigid. Or, if they have, she has dismissed them as figments of her imagination. There were no visions waiting in the smoke for her. When she stared into the coals of her parents’ forge, she saw nothing within. So, when she fled the nest, she put her hands to work helping people.. It was only when she felt blood on her hands for the first time that the whispers truly began. The reflections in the blood that spills during her work tell of things to come. She ignores them, for the most part; the future is not something she can change. ◈ ASSOCIATIONS ◈ Children who grow up in the workshop maintained by Conleth and Idalia are odd. Though they are gifted with an intimate knowledge of the internal workings of nearly all things mechanical, and any clan in search of a machinist or metallurgist would be hard-pressed to find a better choice, there are things about them that seem… wrong. For some, it’s minor things; maybe the smoke of the forge seems to linger around them, or their eyes drift into a glazed stare when they look upon an assembled pistol. The way their shadows seem to writhe and change, or how they jerk like they’ve been startled awake when they stare into the turning gears for too long.
