Meeker was a dragon supremely lacking in confidence. Growing up, he depending so much on his sister Elderith that he never really tried things out for himself without an example first... he never learnt to go out on a limb or take risks, be it in developing skills, being adventurous, or in terms of his social life. Everything was filtered through her first, him just hiding behind her. As a result, when they both became adults and she was no longer willing or able to be his constant companion, he felt perpetually off kilter. He was a very nervous person and just stuck to comfortable routines as much as possible. He was down on himself, knowing that being the way he was wasn't exactly admirable, but he was too scared to aspire to be anything more.

History:
Meeker and his sister Elderith were greudences* of the Droseran Domain stolen from their clan of origin by Pheredon and Maricdon.

Cherrywood: Cherrywood was an accident. She hatched at a time when Meeker was only just being accepted into the congregation, and had a lot to prove. He took her in at first anyway, especially since Berrina seemed so resistant to caring for her, and had a lot more respect in her position as a boundary guard. Elderith helped out a lot, but Meeker still felt himself overwhelmed by this hatchling, never knowing how to take care of her and getting stressed by the effort. He wasn't snappish with her or anything, but he felt like he was making a poor father. Berrina avoided the two completely after he confided in her about how he was finding it, until she returned with news that one of her coworkers had offered to take her in. Meeker felt bad about giving up on her, but was determined to still remain in her life, and hopefully in time become a better man who could be a better father.
Istian would frequently bring her round and Cherrywood was always happy to see him. He was grateful to see her looking happy and healthy, and always tried to give her treats and fun times, but always felt guilty when she was around, so couldn't actually enjoy the time much. He'd be relieved when she was gone, and feel even worse for feeling that way while she did nothing wrong or to indicate she was hurt by being moved around like she was.
