◈ APPEARANCE ◈ Owaissa is a model soldier. Lithe but muscular, observant but not likely to get lost in irrelevant details, obedient but not stupid. Her uniform is tailored to perfection. Her weapons stay polished to a mirrorlike shine and her crimson hair stays cropped short as a fighting man’s lifespan. She passes for official if you’ve never served. Even if you have, you’ll have to look close to see the cracks in her disguise. She’s a very, very good liar. ◈ HISTORY ◈ Owaissa has, since she was little, been honing her image as a person you can trust. She’s too pathetic to be a liar, frankly; just a scrawny little thing with no skills to speak of and a quavering voice that sings of fear like the alarm call of some rare bird. She was never bullied; no one’s going to target something that miserable and wretched. Not without severe backlash, anyway. Owaissa learned when she was young to sucker folks around her into doing what she wanted. From there, her acting skills—and her ability to swipe whatever caught her eye while she had them distracted—grew as she did. One day, she was out walking in the Wastes and came across a fallen soldier, lost in some border skirmish between the defensive forces of the Plaguebringer and Shadowbinder. As she stared at his uniform, which was in remarkably good condition despite being wrapped around a dead man, an idea formed. Owaissa has, since she was little, been honing her image as a person you can trust. What better way to win people over than a uniform and a few official-looking documents? ◈ ASSOCIATIONS ◈ It’s said that misfortune befalls any who associate with the outlaw known as Riley. Whether they’re helping her hide or just seeing her in passing, it will come back to bite them eventually. Likewise, it is said that those who work alongside the prolific bounty hunter Shawshank are blessed with steady work and vicious protection. But what happens when one finds themself in both situations at once? What happens when one of Riley’s former accomplices takes up a bounty and finds themself beside the tracker? What happens when an apprentice of Shawshank decides they’d rather be the face on the wanted poster? Is it felicity or disaster that will follow them?
