The Nightcaller, observes the stars and their patterns from the observatory.
Her egg was covered by foliage in the outskirts and left to hatch there. Each night the light of the stars and moon shone down on her egg, imbuing it with great energies. When she was born she had star speckled skin wings and glistening skin, representing the energies of her birth place.

Light inborn • Nature aligned
Looking down is a vast sea of green; a sprawling woodland of cedar trees stretched out as far as the eye can see. The thick canopies shroud the woods from your view and in turn hides the mountain you're standing on from them. This place that you find yourself in isn't well known and only but two dragons live here. To your back is a small cluster of fruit trees of different types, too humble to be called an orchard, but pleasant enough for the two to call home. At the base of the strong trucks are herbs and flowers growing sparsly and just beyond is a quaint little cottage. These dragons rely on the fruits and wild forage dotted around, cooking and baking with them and drying their leaves and flowers for off-season teas and drinks.

FRUIT GROVE Nestled away near the edge of a mountain surrounded with a dense forest of towering cedar and pine trees is a humble grove of fruit trees. A babbling brook borders the woodland and the grove, it's crystal clear water lazily trickle over the moss covered stones of it's embankment. A rustic and quaint cottage sits just to the right of the clearing with the dark forest to it's back, a variety of flowers, herbs and fruits are all neatly arranged onto long ropes hanging from the side of the stone bricks drying in the summer heat. Wandering through the grove your met with the delicious scent of plump and juicy fruits and the fresh, sweet perfume of blossoming flora. The wild fruit trees are abundant with produce; apples, apricots and peaches of all stages of ripeness hang heavily from their branches and cherries speckle the green leafy canopy of one large tree. The leaves gently rustle in the light breeze that filters through the tall cedar trunks and a sense of tranquility and peace washes over you. |

SUMMER NIGHTS
Solarius and Solstice had been hard at work for several weeks; building their new home in the grove they affectionately call the Lumen Bramble, foraging for wild plants, and sleeping underneath the shimmering stars. On one sunny afternoon Solarius had busied himself with picking the ripest apples from the tree not far from the cottage, it was a fine summer's day with a gentle cooling breeze wisping through the towering cedar trees and he took his time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Just as he returned home he was called upon by Solstice, who was down by the sream struggling with a large basket of sopping wet laundry, and he set his basket by the cooking pit. It was well into the evening, just as the sun started to disappear behind the sentinel pine trees that Solarius finally returned to start preapring the food for that night's supper, he reached into his basket and pulled out the first crisp apple and sliced it thinly, dropping each slice into the cooking pot hooked over a campfire. He reached his claw into the basket for hte next apple but pulled out only the core. Confusion washed over his face, he looked down to the basket and pulled back the cloth covering to find all of the apples had been eaten! Underneath the small mountain of well stripped cores he found a tiny satin pokcetmouse sleeping peacefully in a fruit fuelled slumber.

I was looking to introduce some new pairings to my hatchery, and after picking up a beautiful dragon from the AH I started on my hunt for her mate. It wasn't long before I came across Solarius, who was originally named Rassmuses, also on the AH for 22.5kt. He matched a colour range I needed for the female I already had, and he already came with the planned secondary genen I needed! I brewed pinstripe for him and compelted his gene set on 07.02.24! At time of writing this he is 1 of 2 colours available in his range. |
Before any gene changes. Wearing python, flair, and stained.

RAY OF SUNSHINE
On a warm summer's day amidst the hustle and bustle of the busy city Solstice was perusing the local markets in hopes of buying some of the seasonal fruits freshly harvested that morning, but it wasn't a bundle of crisp honeydew apples she came across that afternoon. She stumbled upon a tiny swift lumen curled up on the cobblestone footpath surrounded by broken roof tiles. The poor tiny lumen had fallen from the loose tiles and it was clearly very injured. Solstice overcome with compassion for the baby scooped him up into her claws gently and nestled him into her golden mane. A long month of tender love and care saw the once frail lumen flourish into a sprightly and happy little guy who she affectionately named Sunshine for his sunny demeanor. The two had grown a strong bond, always wanting to be by each other's side and one day while on a walk in the dense woodland Sunshine jumped from his usual spot perched on her shoulder and skipped under dense undergrowth. Solstice hastily followed behind him, calling his name and reaching out trying to to catch him, but he was too quick for her large clumsy claws. Both ventured on a curious but short journey past the well worn footbpath, winding through a labyrinth of thick vines and tangled bushes, until Sunshine stopped in a small clearing. Solstice, annoyed by the twigs and leaves tugging at her mane, stumbled out of the thick foliage and gasped when she gazed upon the beautiful clearing. Strong fruit trees stood tall in front of her, a beautiful array of colours as each tree proudly presented it's own special fruits. All this time, amoungst the endless cedar trees, spiked berry bushes, and babbling brooks hid a secret Grove untouched by dragonkind.
