Aster is a loyal mason of the Flamecaller. Though he was born in the Frosty Island, Aster spent a good portion of his life in the Ashfall Waste. He had moved there with his mother, Brimstone because she wanted to visit her birth clan and her mentors. Not even a year had passed when she realized how much she missed the Southern Icefield. Eager to go back, she began to pack her and her son's things, yet Aster, old enough to make up his mind, wanted to stay on the (very much) warmer mainland.


This Shadow clan's previous blacksmith, Malfoy, wished to have an apprentice who he could not only teach but also learn from. He had never been to the Magmalands before, yet he wanted to go because he had heard of the new technology being made. By chance, Malfoy had met the young Aster and invited him back to the Clan. Though he was cold to Malfoy at first and considered rejecting his offer, he readjusted his thoughts when he thought about the possibility of learning (and discovering) new Shadow-smithing techniques and accepted the proposal of becoming the Coatl's apprentice.


The journey over the Sea was long and hard, but the two dragons made it within the week. Over the whole journey, Aster began to warm up to Malfoy, expressing his fears on the new clan. Of course, Malfoy said there would be no problems at all and that Eogan, the leader at the time, was always accepting new dragons.



Aster's blacksmith skills had been taught to him as a young child by his parents. He has the fire element running though his blood from his mother's side of the family. As an Ice Dragon, his exterior personality seems frigid, unwelcoming and just plain uninterested - but once if you hang around with him long enough, he warms up to you and shows his kind fiery side.
