Biography

About An Auraboa who hails from the Tangled Wood, alongside his brother Eternity. Aeon and Eternity have taken to sleeping in shifts, even in the safety of Starwatch's settlement. This habit was formed during their travels, where one of them would watch for danger while the other rested. It has since proven to be a tough habit to break, despite the fact that they don't have to keep watch now, so the brothers have contented themselves with having some alone-time while the other slept. Aeon in particular likes this arrangement - he very much values having time to himself, something he didn't really get while he and Eternity traversed the landscape of the Tangled Wood and more, and especially not when they pretty much rushed their way across the Scarred Wasteland. While Eternity was the one who picked out their home in the settlement, a tall structure that they couldn't decipher the origins of (Rhiain had no clue as well, and Ahnvae had just shrugged when asked), it was Aeon who did most of the redecorating. The structure now resembles a decently large tree, the original structure made of stone and branches made of wood, with pretty vine-like decorations hanging from them. He's insanely proud of it. Aeon likes to coil himself around the branches while Eternity sleeps, and listen to the windchimes while watching the night-owls go about their activities. The other dragons understand not to disturb him while he relaxes, and only give him friendly waves before carrying on with whatever they were doing. Aeon enjoys making things, and Starwatch frequently comes to him when they want trinkets made. They pay him, of course, and often leave very satisfied with what they get. Eternity always says he should open a shop, but Aeon's been putting it off for...

Shadow-weaving - Illusion magic, that Aeon likes to call "shadow-weaving" because it sounds cooler. The duration his illusions can last depends on how big they are - small ones can last for days at best, and large ones last for at most an hour. Aeon needs to be able to see the target when he casts his illusions because visualizing it is hard - but once it's done, it can hold even if he's outside of the vicinity. If the target is moved, however, it just holds whatever image it held before (it's pretty much like painting over the thing but magical), so it'll start looking out of place. That is, unless he "updates" it in real time, but that requires him to be looking at it. He can cast it on himself - it's harder to do than if he's casting on other objects (or doing it on himself while looking in a mirror), but still considerably easier than trying to visualize a more unfamiliar object. Essentially, how easy it is for him to cast, as well as how good the casting is, depends on how familiar he is with the target. Telepathy(?) - He has a sort of connection with Eien sometimes. Usually, it's just him feeling their emotions, but sometimes he can see out of their eyes. He hasn't figured out what triggers it, how to trigger it, or why it even happens, but he suspects it's because of the arcane energy in Eien. |
