Ghost Ships can come into existence in one of two ways; being hatched from two Ghost Ship parents, or possibly one if they are within the parameters, or if a shipwreck occurs during a full moon. If they are born the second way, their Flight can vary depending on the Ship itself and it’s crew- whatever Flight holds a majority on deck, that is the Flight the hatchling will belong to.

These dragons dwell deep in the ocean, oftentimes residing near hydrothermal vents for easy meals. It is rare for these deep-dwellers to go to shallow waters, even more so for them to breach the surface. Sailors consider it bad luck to cross the path of one of these dragons, the event being said to be indicative that your ship’s lifespan was very close to it’s end.

Ghost Ships are not the most social, preferring to stay with their own kind, though more outgoing individuals may be open to leaving home to find a new lair. Their ‘wings,’ however, are not suitable for flight, which can make it difficult to bond with other dragons.
