one of Reimo's other personas, represented in dragon form
"I hack WEBSITES not ROBOTS" sadly can't apply to FR lore have fun hacking robots
this is actually also my lancer player character lmao
capable of harnessing whatever magic is responsible for giving the golems some form of sentience and giving them new instructions
hacking into them, pretty much
also somehow manages to keep accidentally joining cults but idk how I'm gonna incorporate that into this lore
Not much is known about them other than they go by Hachi. Heck, it's rumored that Hachi isn't even their actual name.* The dragon behind the alias looks unassuming, for the most part. But their particular set of skills truly shines when interacting with machinery, particularly the inventions found within the Golem Workshop. It seems Hachi knows how to get into what gives the golems their sentience and reconfigure them to serve their bidding, often to a degree of intelligence that makes it feel as if Hachi themself is operating the golem. This has proven to be handy for espionage; nobody expects a Wind-Up Pocketmouse to do too much, right? Whether Hachi actually controls the golem as if they were possessing it or simply just upgrading its programming is unknown. When asked about how they do that, Hachi only responds with "I don't know, I just can." Perhaps the bright green patterns running through their body have something to do with it?
What's even more surprising is the fact that they're not Lightning-born. They aren't manipulating the electricity powering the Golems and rerouting it to change their direction, but rather what's giving them the ability to act independently after powered. Imagine what they would have been capable of if they were blessed by the Stormcatcher...
*Hachi's legal name is Mori Koruta. He rarely goes by it for personal reasons, mostly because he hates being associated with the surname. His parents sent him away to join the ranks of the Exalted at a very young age, thus never really knowing who they were aside from the surname. He eventually ran from the training facility and ended up in the Golem Workshop, which is where he first discovered his ability to reprogram a golem's artificial intelligence.
Hachi isn't his only alias, by the way. He has used his skills for legally dubious activities and is probably wanted in certain areas, hence the need to go by multiple other names. If you know anyone who knows an engineer going by "Goggles", there's a high chance that's also Hachi.
optional Wildclaw breed change but Pearlcatcher will do
