Hatching near the Thorndark Altar, Gutyn was often praised for her stunning dark wings, though her glistening white body drew attention from enemy clans and roaming beasts as it caught the dim starlight that broke through the Tangled Wood.
At a young age, she discovered that she had a love of all things that grew, nurturing the twisted plants that rose from the soil in her home. Her birth Clan scoffed at her passion, and as time stretched on, Gutyn decided that she would find a new place to call home- a place where a love of growing things and plants and nature was appreciated. Making her way to the Viridian Labyrinth, she was delighted in the green that greeted her, and the way the sunlight shone on her wings, drawing out colours that had been absent in the darkness. She was greeted warmly by a fellow Obelisk, who introduced herself as Moonclaw, and brought her to meet her Clan. Within days, Gutyn felt at home, and on her fourth morning there, a young hatchling pranced over to her, telling her to follow. When the pair emerged into a clearing, Gutyn found a small stone wall encircling a patch of freshly tilled earth, and her new Clan awaited her, each bearing small pouches of seeds for her own garden.

Moonclaw is good friends with Gutyn, bonding over their shared nature. Upon bringing her into the Clan, Moonclaw built Gutyn a garden to pursue her passion for nurturing plants.
